Brake lines are easy to overlook until one weeps or rusts through, and on a 1962-1965 Fairlane the originals are long overdue. This Right Stuff pre-bent OE-style steel front brake line kit covers the front section of the system, from the master cylinder area out to the front brake hoses, made for manual drum brakes, bent on CNC equipment to follow the original routing. Why It's Worth It: Pre-bent to fit, so there's no tubing bender, cutting or flaring. Bent on CNC benders with machine-formed flares for consistent ends. Steel line keeps an original appearance and is easy to fine-tune by hand. Steel tube nuts/fittings included. Specific to the 1962-1965 Fairlane, not a universal roll of tubing. Before You Order: This kit is for manual drum brakes; other brake setups route differently and need a different kit. Covers the front lines only; front-to-rear and rear axle lines are sold separately. Replacing old rubber hoses at the same time is good practice. Bleed the entire system after installation.
