Brake lines are easy to overlook until one weeps or rusts through, and on a 1972-1973 Mustang & Cougar the originals are long overdue. This Right Stuff pre-bent OE-style steel front-to-rear brake line covers the long line that runs along the frame from the front of the vehicle to the rear hose, made for front disc brakes, bent on CNC equipment to follow the original routing. Why It's Worth It: Pre-bent to fit, so there's no tubing bender, cutting or flaring. Bent on CNC benders with machine-formed flares for consistent ends. Steel line keeps an original appearance and is easy to fine-tune by hand. Steel tube nuts/fittings included. Specific to the 1972-1973 Mustang & Cougar, not a universal roll of tubing. Before You Order: This kit is for front disc brakes; other brake setups route differently and need a different kit. Covers the front-to-rear line only; front and rear axle lines are sold separately. Replacing old rubber hoses at the same time is good practice. Bleed the entire system after installation. Long lines ship in an oversized box.
