Swapping the long front-to-rear brake line on a 1981-87 square-body is miserable if you're bending it yourself. This Right Stuff line comes pre-bent in stainless steel for the longbed C10 and C15, so it follows the frame the way the original did and won't rot out like the factory steel line.
Why It's Worth It
- Stainless steel stands up to road salt far longer than plain steel
- Pre-bent to follow the factory route along the frame
- Sized for the long-wheelbase longbed truck, not a cut-and-splice universal line
- A good choice for a truck that still sees regular use
Before You Order
- This is the longbed line. Shortbed trucks need the shortbed version
- Stainless is harder than OE steel, so tighten the fittings carefully and check them for seeps after bleeding
- Inspect the flex hoses and frame clips while the old line is out
- Bleed the entire system after installation
