A 1960-1962 GM Truck & Suburban on its original drums stops the way it did when it was new, which is to say not great by today's standards. This Right Stuff kit converts the GM Truck & Suburban to manual front disc brakes and is built around a 2" drop, so stance and stopping get sorted together.
Why It's Worth It
- Black master cylinder upper assembly
- Includes Flex Hoses
- Timken Bearings
- Application-specific for the 1960-1962 GM Truck & Suburban
Before You Order
- This is the 2" drop version; stock-height cars need a different kit
- Confirm your lug pattern and that your wheels clear the calipers before ordering
- Manual brakes rely on the correct master cylinder bore; confirm what's supplied versus reused
- The new spindles included in this kit will push the wheels outwards by 3/8 inch more than stock
- Pre-bent TRS brake line kits are available separately to finish the conversion
- Bleed the system and bed in the pads after installation
