Drum brakes on a 1963-1966 Chevy Truck fade on long stops and need constant adjustment. This Right Stuff kit converts the Chevy Truck to hydro-boost disc brakes and is built around a 2" drop, so stance and stopping get sorted together, with hydraulic assist that runs off the power steering pump instead of engine vacuum.
Why It's Worth It
- Wilwood calipers in red
- Hydraulic assist doesn't depend on engine vacuum, so it suits big cams and low-vacuum engines
- Performance Series Conversion Kit
- Timken Bearings
- Drilled & Slotted Rotors
- Includes Braided Stainless Flex Hoses
Before You Order
- This is the 2" drop version; stock-height cars need a different kit
- Confirm your lug pattern and that your wheels clear the calipers before ordering
- Hydro-boost requires a power steering pump and pressure/return lines to feed the unit
- Pre-bent TRS brake line kits are available separately to finish the conversion
- Bleed the system and bed in the pads after installation
