A 1963-1970 GM Truck/Suburban on its original drums stops the way it did when it was new, which is to say not great by today's standards. This Right Stuff kit converts the GM Truck/Suburban to 4-wheel disc brakes and is built around a 2" drop, so stance and stopping get sorted together.
Why It's Worth It
- Red calipers
- Chrome booster/master assembly
- Includes Flex Hoses
- Timken Bearings
- Rear discs end drum fade and adjustment
Before You Order
- This is the 2" drop version; stock-height cars need a different kit
- Confirm your lug pattern and that your wheels clear the calipers before ordering
- The new spindles included in this kit will push the wheels outwards by 3/8 inch more than stock
- Going to 4-wheel disc changes front/rear bias, so check your proportioning valve setup
- Pre-bent TRS brake line kits are available separately to finish the conversion
- Bleed the system and bed in the pads after installation
