This kit turns a 1958-64 Impala into a 4-wheel power disc car. It includes 11" rotors front and rear, a 9" single-diaphragm booster, and a dual-port 1" bore master cylinder. It bolts on, and because the E-brake cables come with it, the parking brake works on the new rear discs out of the box. It's a solid answer for X-frame full-size Chevys still stopping on 60-year-old drums.
Why It's Worth It
- Four-wheel disc with 11" rotors at every corner cuts the fade you get from old drums on long or repeated stops.
- 9" booster and dual-reservoir master included for power assist and a split system.
- Uses your original spindles and stock ride height. No spindle swap is required.
- Braided stainless hoses included, per the kit description.
What's Included
- Rotors, single-piston calipers, pads and brackets
- 9" power booster and dual-port master cylinder
- E-brake cables
- Hoses and mounting hardware
Before You Order
- Requires 15" or larger wheels.
- Budget for hard lines and a proportioning valve suited to 4-wheel disc if they aren't already on the car.
- Check booster clearance around the firewall, especially with aftermarket valve covers or headers.
