A first-gen Camaro on four-wheel manual drums is fine until you have to stop in a hurry. This Right Stuff kit converts a 1967-69 Camaro to front power discs with 11" rotors and a full-size 11" booster for real assist, and it keeps the car at stock ride height.
Why It's Worth It
- 11" front rotors with single-piston calipers and pads included
- 11" single-diaphragm booster gives strong, predictable pedal assist
- Dual-port master with a 1.125" bore, a safer split system than an original single-pot master
- New spindles included, so there's no hunting for used disc spindles
What's Included
- Front disc brake hardware with pads
- Spindles
- 11" power booster and 2-port master cylinder
Before You Order
- Requires 15" or larger wheels, or 14" wheels that came on factory disc brake cars
- The new spindles push each wheel out 3/8" more than stock; check fender and tire clearance
- If your car has a big cam and low vacuum, measure it before choosing a vacuum booster
- A drum-to-disc swap needs the right proportioning valve for the rear brakes
