Manual to Power Conversion for Camaro / Firebird / Nova

Customer

I have a 1969 Camaro with manual front disc brakes. I would like to convert to power brakes. The car has 15" wheels.
What would I need to do the conversion? I would like to order
asap.

Thanks

Bill

Hi Bill, You will need a brake booster (RPB1003 - $109), a disc brake master cylinder (DBMC09- $49). You will also need to purchase new brake lines both for the front of the car and the long line that runs to the rear ($95 for a complete regular steel line set or $145 in stainless. This is every hard line on the car). The reason you have to change the line to the rear is that when you add a booster, this moves the master cylinder and the distribution block away from the firewall. This means the current front to rear brake line will no longer reach. The part numbers on the brake lines will depend on whether you have a factory disc brake valve or a aftermarket valve.
