A 1963-1970 GM Truck on its original drums stops the way it did when it was new, which is to say not great by today's standards. This Right Stuff kit converts the GM Truck to manual 4-wheel disc brakes and is built around a 2" drop, so stance and stopping get sorted together.
Why It's Worth It
- Wilwood calipers in red
- Drilled & Slotted Rotors
- Timken Bearings
- Includes Braided Stainless Flex Hoses
- Includes High Quality Brake Pads
- Performance Series Conversion Kit
Before You Order
- This is the 2" drop version; stock-height cars need a different kit
- Confirm your lug pattern and that your wheels clear the calipers before ordering
- Manual brakes rely on the correct master cylinder bore; confirm what's supplied versus reused
- Going to 4-wheel disc changes front/rear bias, so check your proportioning valve setup
- Pre-bent TRS brake line kits are available separately to finish the conversion
- Bleed the system and bed in the pads after installation
