If your 1958 Impala, 9" Booster pulls, fades or needs a long run-up to stop, a disc conversion is the upgrade that changes how it drives. This Right Stuff kit converts the Impala, 9" Booster to power front disc brakes and is built around a 2" drop, so stance and stopping get sorted together. Why It's Worth It: 9" booster for power assist. Includes High Quality Brake Pads. Application-specific for the 1958 Impala, 9" Booster. Application-specific kit rather than a universal setup. Before You Order: This is the 2" drop version; stock-height cars need a different kit. Confirm your lug pattern and that your wheels clear the calipers before ordering. Check firewall and valve cover clearance for the 9" booster. The new spindles included in this kit will push the wheels outwards by 3/8 inch more than stock. Pre-bent TRS brake line kits are available separately to finish the conversion. Bleed the system and bed in the pads after installation.
