If your 1965-1970 Impala pulls, fades or needs a long run-up to stop, a disc conversion is the upgrade that changes how it drives. This Right Stuff kit converts the Impala to power 4-wheel disc brakes and is built around a 2" drop, so stance and stopping get sorted together. Why It's Worth It: 9" booster for power assist. Includes High Quality Brake Pads. Performance Series Conversion Kit Featuring Wilwood Calipers. Rear discs end drum fade and adjustment. Before You Order: This is the 2" drop version; stock-height cars need a different kit. Confirm your lug pattern and that your wheels clear the calipers before ordering. Check firewall and valve cover clearance for the 9" booster. The new spindles included in this kit will push the wheels outwards by 3/8 inch more than stock. Going to 4-wheel disc changes front/rear bias, so check your proportioning valve setup. Pre-bent TRS brake line kits are available separately to finish the conversion.
